Classroom
Based (Group Placement)
Group placements aim to enable the child to function
more comfortably and successfully in all the various settings
he or she experiences - home, school and community. Children
are placed into small groups, with a teacher and a teacher aide,
and receive regular speech therapy, occupational therapy and
physiotherapy. Autism Queensland staff also work with parents
and staff from the child's other school to help address any needs
and concerns.
