Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the commencement time to register for all
workshops. Courses will start on time.
Autism Queensland make every attempt to ensure that workshops proceed as outlined,
however we reserve the right to alter any arrangements, including cancellation of a
workshop, substitution of presenters, change of venue, if required. We will notify you as
soon as possible should there be a cancellation and refund all monies received.
Bookings and registration cancellations up to 5 working days prior to the workshops,
training modules, consultations and programs will forfeit 50% of the cost. Cancellations
after this time will forfeit the entire amount.
Transfers of payments are only possible for courses run in the same school term and when
5 working days notification is given.
Early bird payments must be received by this office by the early bird date otherwise the
standard rate is charged. Early bird discounts do not apply to seminars and workshops being paid from FAHCSIA funding.
FAHCSIA funding cannot be used on feature events.
Please note a discount of $10 per session is available to parents of children with ASD (excluding
parent workshops and special
events).
Attendance at an Understanding ASD workshop or equivalent workshop before attending other workshops is strongly recommended. A good understanding of
Autism Spectrum Disorder will be presumed.
For workshops held on our premises at Sunnybank Hills please do not park in the staff
and parent carpark. Parking is available on Hellawell Road and Jackson Road.
