Early Years Advisory Visits

Our Outreach Team visit Kindergartens, Prep, and Early Childhood Development Programs throughout regional Queensland to observe young children with Autism in an educational setting to provide information, advice and individualised strategies to parents, staff and other involved personnel.

These advisory visits are available to eligible children at no cost as we receive supplementary funding from Non School Organisations (NSO), Department of Education and Training.

Visits to children in Brisbane, Ipswich, Toowoomba, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast occur on an as needed basis throughout the year.

Due to strong demand for the service there may be a wait between request for service and the visit.

Visits to children in most regional areas occur on an annual or bi-annual basis and we notify Early Childhood Education Providers and parents of registered Autism Queensland clients of the upcoming visit approximately six weeks prior to the visit.
