Early AQtion Group Placement

This is a small group program which children attend between three to four days per week depending on their individual needs.

Staff visit the child’s home and/or other early childhood setting on days the child is not attending the Centre.

The program integrates a formal developmental and educational curriculum and addresses:

• communication skills,
• social and play skills,
• behaviour,
• sensory processing issues, and
• self-care skills.

The program is supported by teachers, teacher aides, speech pathologist, occupational therapist, psychologist and social worker.

Although subsidised by Department of Communities – Disability and Community Care Services, EarlyAQtion Programs will incur a fee to cover the remaining costs. These fees may in turn be covered in full or partially by the Helping Children With Autism (HCWA) Early Intervention Funds.
