Overnight and Weekend Respite - Birralee

The Birralee Overnight and Weekend respite centre for Autism Queensland members operates from Friday to Sunday and provides overnight and weekend respite to children and adolescents with Autism.

The residence is a light, open-plan house that is spacious and welcoming, and has been modified to safely accommodate children and adolescents with Autism. It is conveniently located next door to our Sunnybank Therapy Centre, with access to a safe and secure playground with bikes, a trampoline and a large swimming pool.

Up to four children can stay at Birralee each night, and are grouped as much as possible with children of similar ages and ability in order to foster positive experiences for each child.
