EarlyAQtion Play and Learn

These small group (3-5 children), short-term programs focus on the needs of very young and recently diagnosed children with autism and their families. Each program is delivered by a transdisciplinary team including a teacher, a speech pathologist, an occupational therapist and a family support worker. Families have the opportunity to discuss their need and those of their child with each professional individually, as well as within the group. This program consists of a series of weekly sessions for a period of 8 – 10 weeks.

Although subsidised by Department of Communities – Disability and Community Services, EarlyAQtion Programs will incur a fee to cover the remaining costs. These fees may in turn be covered in full or partially by the Helping Children With Autism (HCWA) Early Intervention Funds.
