"Fun, Friends & Feelings" workshops for under 7s

Brisbane, June/July 2013 School Holidays

Autism Queensland is offering these week-long, half day (2.5 hours) intensive group therapy programs at our centres at Sunnybank Hills and Brighton during the June/July holidays for children under seven with a diagnosis of autism. The programs incorporate the use of therapy techniques supported by the latest research to help children learn and practice peer relationship skills like turn-taking, sharing and interactive play. Each group will consist of 3-4 children with at least one of each child's parents attending each session. Read the flyer for more information.

Early Days workshops for parents and carers

Early Days provides workshops for parents and other family carers of children 6 years and under who have an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or are going through the assessment and diagnosis process. Workshops are held in small groups of 4-15 people and provide opportunities to meet other parents and carers. AQ proud to host signing of NDIS agreement

Autism Queensland was honoured to host Prime Minister Julia Gillard and Queensland Premier Campbell Newman MP for the signing of the NDIS (DisabilityCare Australia) agreement between the Queensland and Federal Governments on Wednesday, May 8.
