MyTime Playgroup

MyTime playgroups provide support for parents and carers of children under school age with a disability or chronic medical condition, while also enabling children to learn valuable social skills.

MyTime gives parents the chance to socialise and share ideas with others who understand the rewards, challenges and intensity of the caring role. Parents / carers can meet with people in similar circumstances to hear from others, and find out about available community support. At some meetings there will be guest speakers providing information on topics of relevance.

Each group has a play helper who can lead children in activities such as singing, drawing, playing with toys, blocks or sand so that parents / carers can spend time focusing on catching up with others, and gaining and sharing information.

Playgroup is held at the Browns Plains Early Years Centre, Cnr Wineglass and Middle Roads, Brown Plain. Playgroup is held on FRIDAYS during school term.
