What Can an Occupational Therapist Assist With?

An Occupational Therapist can assist with daily life occupations including:

  • self-care skills such as eating, toileting, sleeping, bathing;
  • school-work skills such as handwriting, behaviour regulation and organisation;
  • play skills;
  • assessment of underlying sensory processing,
  • fine and gross motor,
  • attention and organisational difficulties and
  • reduction of their impact on the performance of daily life occupations.
