Membership of Autism Queensland is open to anyone aged 18 years or over.

There are four classes of members: Ordinary Members (including Family Membership - entitling the family to two (2) votes at the AGM and counted as two members Individual Membership - entitling the member to a single vote at the AGM Concessional Membership - open to a person in receipt of social security support (excluding Carer's Allowance) entitling the member to a single vote at the AGM). Cost is $50.00 for Single Membership; or $60.00 for Family Membership.

Organisational Membership:
Open to schools, corporations and other community organizations, entitling the Organisation to one vote at the Annual General Meeting. Cost is $100 for Organisational Membership.

Life Members:
Entitled to two votes per membership. Life Membership is given to any person not being a corporation who has given to the Association in any one payment the sum of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) or such other sum as may from time to time be determined by the Association in general meeting shall be eligible for admission as a Life Member. Any corporation which has given to the Association in any one payment the sum of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) or such other sum as may be determined by the Association in general meeting shall be eligible for admission as a Life Member.

Honorary Life Membership:
Any person who has rendered outstanding professional or other services to or on behalf of the Association shall be eligible for admission as an Honorary Life Member. Honorary Life Members are entitled to one vote per membership. The number of Honorary Life Members at any one time must not exceed twenty (20).
