"STRUCTURING SUCCESS”

Autism Queensland featured the latest Research on ASD at the 2007 Australian Biennial Conference on Autism Spectrum Disorders.

The Research Forum on day 3 of this event will feature the latest Research related to Autism Spectrum Disorders by International and National Academic, Clinical and Practitioner Researchers. Research papers will focus on current Research into Education, Early Intervention, Therapy, Communication, Independence and Support of children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

The Plenary Session will include the presentation by Dr Tony Attwood and Dr Kate Sofronoff of the outcomes of their research: A Randomized Controlled Trial of a Cognitive Behavioural Intervention for Anger Management in Children Diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome. Professor Tony Attwood

Tony Attwood is a clinical psychologist who has specialised in autism spectrum disorders since he qualified as a clinical psychologist in England in 1975. He works in private practice in Brisbane and is an adjunct professor at Griffith University, Queensland.
